All our decorative panels are stocked at 1.8m (5’11”) wide but we also offer a panel extension kit so they can be used with our standard 1.83m (6ft) timber, composite and concrete gravel boards. We stock a range of different heights from 0.9m (3ft) to 1.8m (5’11”). Lap Fence Panels for Durability
Alternatively, we have a selection of standard Lumberjacks lap fence panels that are strong and durable and can help to complete your garden’s look. Lap fence panels are a cost-effective alternative to replacing wind damaged or rotten boundary fencing.
Lap fence panels are the most common type of garden fencing and are known for providing superior strength and closed horizontal slats. They have a 2 ½ inch rail top and bottom on one side to help reduce the chance of the panels bowing in the winds. They also consist of a frame with horizontal overlapping boards secured between vertical battens to create, a more rustic look in comparison to a closeboard fence.
Closeboard Panels for Privacy
The Lumberjacks closeboard panel is our strongest and best-selling of all our fence panels, renowned for its strength and versatility without sacrificing on appearance and is constructed in our on-site workshop on Bramford Road, Ipswich. These panels are designed to create the ideal privacy screen between you and your neighbour’s garden and can withstand high winds.
These panels consist of 3 or 4 32mm x 75mm panel rails to help give them improved strength. They are then clad in 100mm wide feather edge and finished off with a twice-weathered panel capping to further protect the panels. All materials used during the construction of these panels are pressure treated in standard brown or special-order green treatment. The closeboard panels are available in various heights, with the option of having them bespoke to your desired size.
